Pay-By-The-Day Licenses are a new short-term, low-cost licensing option that gives you the ability to dynamically adjust the number of licenses available to you in order to cope with variations in demand. The minimum license period is just one calendar day.

To purchase Pay-By-The-Day licenses, please follow these steps:

1. Login to your Gurobi Account. If you do not already have an account, then first Register for an Account.
2. Click on 'Download' in the User's Menu, and download the version for your platform. You should also download README.txt.
3. Click on 'Licenses' in the User's Menu, then click on the 'Pay-By-The-Day' tab. Add the licenses you would like to purchase to your cart, and click on 'Checkout' to pay for your licenses.
4. Follow the instructions in README.txt to install the software.
5. When you are ready to use a pay-by-the-day license, click on that license in the 'My Licenses' display and run the 'grbgetkey' command listed at the bottom of the page (ex: grbgetkey ae36ac20-16e6-acd2-f242-4da6e765fa0a). The 'grbgetkey' program will retrieve your license key and prompt you to store it on your machine.

You are now ready to use the Gurobi Optimizer! Remember that this time-limited license is valid from the moment you run the 'grbgetkey' program through midnight on its expiration date. Once a license has expired, you will not be able to start solving a new model, but any solve in progress will continue without interruption, and you will be able to retrieve solution results from any solve that starts before the license expires.
