This .NET/CLR based framework provides a rich set of tools, services, and engines to aid companies in their continuous quest for operational efficiency, profit maximization, and risk management. It supports all the .NET Framework languages, including C#, VB, and C++. It also includes an Excel add-in that allows you to embed an optimization model within a spreadsheet.

When used with Gurobi, Microsoft Solver Foundation allows you to solve linear and quadratic optimization problems with any combination of discrete or continuous variables. Gurobi Optimization is the only authorized reseller for Microsoft Solver Foundation.
