「最適化」について事前知識の無い方、「最適化」でどのようなことができるかにご興味のある方向けのビギナーコースです。前半では実世界における「最適化」の具体例を用いて、「最適化」の一般的な概念や「最適化」がどのようなことに利用可能かをご紹介します。後半では、最適化手法の一つである数理最適化を扱います。「最適化」を行う上で、数理最適化がヒューリスティクス等と比較してどのように有効であるかを、簡単な例をもとに解説していきます。また、「最適化」を利用したシステムの開発フローと、ビジネスロジックを組み込んだ、または、ヒューリスティクスをベースとしたシステムの開発フローを比較し、その違いについての理解を深めます。
