Abby holds a Master of Business Analytics from the Operations Research Center at MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Mississippi. Prior to joining Gurobi, she worked at Pfizer, where she led a team of data scientists and developers in creating web applications that empowered business partners to leverage traditional machine learning and custom optimization models to improve supply chain operations. After a brief career hiatus for travel, she served as a data scientist for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, where she pioneered the application of optimization to improve member outreach initiatives. Outside of her professional endeavors, Abby enjoys any kind of competition, travel, puzzles, and cooking. 

Adam holds a Master’s in Industrial Applied Mathematics and brings nearly a decade of experience applying optimization, simulation, data science, machine learning, and AI to real-world decision problems. He has worked at Toyota, Ford, and Infosys Consulting, where his models have driven billions of dollars in decisions and uncovered hundreds of millions in new profit. His career spans autonomous vehicles, supply chain planning, and logistics, where he has designed and deployed real-time vehicle routing algorithms, fleet simulation engines, large-scale production systems, and AI-enhanced decision tools built on machine learning and mathematical optimization.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys mentoring data professionals, writing about decision science, and exploring the intersection of human and algorithmic decision-making. In his personal time, he enjoys strength training, training his Giant Schnauzer, learning Thai, and playing Apex Legends, where he currently holds a Platinum rank.

Adam is a data-driven growth marketer and technologist. He has over 15 years experience with end-to-end campaign management, aligning sales and marketing teams, and driving revenue in high-level complex work environments for Fortune 500 organizations and Start-ups. He is a passionate, dedicated problem solver who brings ideas to market through building strategic marketing solutions that support mission-critical business objectives and drive innovation.

Adam holds a M.A. in Advertising from The University of Texas. He is an avid backpacker, yoga enthusiast, and guitarist, who loves sharing those interests with his two children.

Adriana has a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting (French to Romanian) from Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania.

She has 12 years of experience in the IT software industry across various teams, including Customer Service, Commerce, and Sales and Quality Coach. Over the past 6 years, she worked as a Microsoft Licensing Specialist for EMEA, where she facilitated adherence to licensing agreements by delivering precise terms and conditions, ensuring customer usage compliance.

She also completed a Full Stack Software Development bootcamp, where she cultivated a strong curiosity and passion for both front-end and back-end development.

Originally from Romania, she moved to Germany in 2014. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, cooking, traveling to explore new destinations, and visiting her home country.

Dr. Ahmed Azab holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering specializing in Applied Mathematics from Osaka University, Japan. His doctoral research delved into mathematical modeling and optimization techniques applied to container logistics operations.

Before joining the Gurobi team, Ahmed was an optimization consultant at October Sky Ltd., a renowned mathematical optimization consulting firm in Japan. During his tenure, he actively contributed to mathematical optimization projects across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, energy, and logistics. Ahmed's role involved designing and solving optimization models tailored to clients' needs.

In addition to his professional achievements, Ahmed has a passion for education. Throughout his MSc and Ph.D. studies, he had the privilege of teaching undergraduate courses in Industrial Engineering.

Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Ahmed finds solace in spending quality time with his family. He is an avid traveler, exploring new destinations and immersing himself in Japan's rich culture and natural beauty.

Akhil has been living in Austin for the past 10 years, following time spent in Houston and New York. He earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from NYIT and began his career at the United Nations in downtown New York, where he worked for three years. Drawn by the appeal of better weather, he relocated to central Texas, joining Dell and later contributing to various technology-driven companies. Akhil is passionate about managing complex project migrations and tackling critical technical challenges. He has a strong eagerness to learn and enjoys attending technical sessions from anyone willing to share their knowledge. Outside of work, he is a proud father of two and enjoys playing cricket.
