What is the Gurobi Intelligence Hub?

The Gurobi Intelligence Hub is the home for Gurobi's AI-powered optimization agents.

It brings together specialized AI capabilities that help users build, understand, troubleshoot, and interact with optimization models more effectively.

General Availability (GA) capabilities are fully released and intended for regular use.

Beta capabilities are available for broader use and feedback, with additional improvements planned over time.

Experimental capabilities are available for users to explore and evaluate and may change significantly as development continues.

Who can use the Intelligence Hub?

Everyone. The Intelligence Hub is available through a free Gurobi Portal account.

Access is open to customers, prospects, academics, students, and members of the broader optimization community.

Already have a Gurobi Portal account? Start using the Intelligence Hub here.

What can The Modeler help me do?

The Modeler acts like an optimization consultant, guiding you through the optimization modeling process by helping define requirements, identify assumptions, create specifications, generate validation tests, and produce optimization implementations.

The goal is to help you move from a business problem to a production-quality optimization model through a structured optimization workflow.

How does The Modeler help reduce hallucinations and improve trust in AI-generated optimization models?

Building optimization models that users trust is not a new challenge. Experienced optimization practitioners understand that creating a successful model requires refining requirements, validating assumptions, and ensuring the model accurately represents the real-world problem being solved.

Unlike general-purpose AI tools that often focus on direct code generation, this iterative workflow is designed to reduce common modeling mistakes by incorporating requirement validation, assumption checking, specification development, and acceptance testing throughout the modeling process.

What happens after I create a model with The Modeler?

After creating a model with The Modeler, users can review, refine, validate, and test the generated optimization implementation using Gurobi technology.

Existing Gurobi customers can use their Gurobi Optimizer licenses to begin testing and refining their models.

Users who are new to Gurobi can request a free trial license to evaluate the generated model using the full-featured Gurobi Optimizer.

What can The Explainer help me do?

The Explainer is an AI-powered capability that helps users understand, diagnose, and interact with optimization models through natural language.

Current capabilities include:

  • Infeasibility explanation

  • Feasibility restoration

  • Sensitivity analysis

What can the Local MCP server help me do?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) allows users to access Gurobi's AI-powered optimization agents from supported AI-assisted development environments and workflows.

At launch, the Local MCP enables access to Gurobot and Explainer through supported integrations.

The Local MCP server is designed to work with AI development environments that support the Model Context Protocol, such as:

  • Claude Desktop

  • Claude Code (CLI)

  • GitHub Copilot (VS Code)

  • Other MCP-compatible AI assistants

Are there any usage limits?

The Intelligence Hub includes a 2,000,000 daily token allocation shared across all available agents. Gurobi may adjust token allocations and usage policies over time based on platform usage and service requirements.

Users can monitor their usage through the indicator displayed on the Intelligence Hub home page. The indicator displays: Percentage of daily token consumption, current token usage, total daily token allocation. Usage resets daily.

Optimization capabilities available through the Intelligence Hub currently rely on a Gurobi size-limited license. This includes a full-featured version of the Gurobi Optimizer limited to models with:

  • Maximum 2,000 decision variables

  • Maximum 2,000 constraints

How can I provide feedback?

User feedback plays an important role in helping us improve existing capabilities and shape future development.

Users can provide feedback directly through the Intelligence Hub experience using the thumbs up and thumbs down controls available on agent responses. For broader product feedback, users can also open a support ticket to contact Gurobi's optimization Expert team.

How are privacy and data usage handled?
