AGIFORS 65th Annual Symposium

November 16-20, 2025

8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Hilton London Kensington

We are pleased to announce that Gurobi will be sponsoring the AGIFORS 65th Annual Symposium, hosted by easyJet, from November 16-20, 2025.

As the world’s leading provider of mathematical optimization technology, Gurobi is proud to support the airline industry by equipping carriers with state-of-the-art optimization solutions. Airlines leverage Gurobi to solve complex problems, such as fleet management, crew scheduling, route planning, and fuel optimization. These advanced solutions allow airlines to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance decision-making processes across their operations.

Gurobi will be presenting with Easyjet, so please come to see Ronald van der Velden, Manager of Technical Account Management for EMEA on stage with Ruifan Liu, Senior Data Scientist at easyJet. In this joint session, we will show how optimization turns complex challenges into optimal solutions. We’ll explore what mathematical optimization is, why it matters for airlines, and how easyJet uses Gurobi for tail assignment and crew disruption solution to improve efficiency and resilience. You’ll also hear about other exciting optimization projects shaping the future of easyJet’s operations. Join us to see how math keeps planes flying—and come chat with both teams after the talk!

We look forward to connecting with aviation leaders at the symposium and sharing how Gurobi’s optimization technology continues to drive innovation and operational excellence in the airline industry.

For more information about the symposium, visit the AGIFORS website.
