Groups will split into two tracks: Business and Technical
10:00 am - 10:30 am
Technical Track: Global MINLP and NLP
MILP solver codes have been around for more than 50 years, while their spatial branching counterparts that solve MINLPs to global optimality remain in an earlier stage of development. This talk will discuss recent advances in Gurobi's MINLP solver, including performance improvements to the spatial branch-and-bound framework and support for new nonconvex nonlinear functions such as the hyperbolic tangent and signed power. We will also introduce Gurobi's new local NLP solver, based on an interior-point barrier method that applies Newton steps to the perturbed KKT system and employs feasibility restoration to find accurate local solutions. Together, these MINLP and NLP capabilities represent a significant step forward, as demonstrated by benchmark results showing substantial gains in solution quality and solve time across a broad set of instances.
Dr. Rodrigo Fuentes
10:00 am - 11:00 am
Business Track: Total Economic Impact of the Gurobi Optimizer
A Total Economic Impact study is used to quantify value with ROI, NPV, and payback. Results show significant cost savings, revenue gains, and fast payback across industries. Customer quotes and case studies illustrate real‑world impact.
Manuel Rassi & David O'Keefe
10:30 am - 11:00 am
Technical Track: Building Trust in Optimization
In this session we explore some of Gurobi's advanced features through the lens of solution explainability, including solution pools, infeasibility analysis, and multi-scenario analysis. Explainability in practice requires both technical skills and successful communication with stakeholders.
Nicholas Parham

11:30 am - 12:15 pm
Technical Track: Advanced Numerics
This session dives deep into numerical challenges that impact optimization performance and reliability. We will explore sources of numerical instability (scaling, conditioning, coefficient precision, cascades), how they manifest in real models, and how Gurobi detects and mitigates them. Attendees will learn concrete modeling techniques, data-preparation best practices, and solver settings to improve numerical robustness in large-scale LP/MIP/MINLP models. The session is aimed at experienced practitioners working on production-grade optimization models.
Dr. Rodrigo Fuentes
11:30 am - 12:15 pm
Business Track: Implementation Story
Join a customer and implementation partner as they walk through a successful end-to-end optimization project powered by Gurobi. Learn how the partner’s technical expertise and industry capabilities enabled a scalable solution, driving operational efficiency and long-term value.
David O'Keefe
12:15 pm - 1:00 pm
Technical Track: Hands-On Tuning
This session offers a unique opportunity to witness live optimization model tuning by Gurobi Experts. We will demonstrate real-time parameter adjustments, showcasing the step-by-step process and strategies employed to enhance performance. Attendees will gain valuable insights into identifying key performance factors and mastering parameter tuning techniques for optimized results.
Dr. Rodrigo Fuentes & Zed Dean
12:15 pm - 1:00 pm
Business Track: Use Case Presentation
A leading organization shares how they leveraged Gurobi to tackle a complex optimization challenge, improving decision-making speed and delivering measurable business impact. This session will highlight the problem, approach, and key results achieved through advanced optimization.

From Gen AI to Agentic Optimization: How Gurobi is Closing the Modeling Skills Gap
This session explores how generative AI is reshaping optimization modeling and how Gurobi is using it to close the optimization skills gap. We begin with why modeling—not solving—is the main barrier to broader adoption of optimization, then show how Gurobi AI Modeling and tools like Gurobot help practitioners translate real‑world problems into high‑quality mathematical models more effectively. The session concludes with a forward‑looking view on agentic‑style workflows, illustrating how human expertise, generative AI, and Gurobi’s solver technology come together to augment optimization practitioners.
