Raúl Vindel Loeches is Head of MRO Data & AI at Iberia, where he leads the strategic transformation of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) into a data-driven organization. His team develops advanced solutions in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Mathematical Optimization, applying cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and operational excellence in aircraft maintenance.
Raúl holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Data Science. He combines strong technical expertise with a business-oriented mindset, ensuring that innovation translates into tangible value for the organization.
At the summit, he will present Iberia’s ongoing project to optimize the engine workshop, a key initiative aimed at significantly improving productivity and performance through the use of optimization models and AI.
Roberto Campelo Valencia
Lead of Network Data & AI
Roberto is Lead of Network Data & AI at Iberia, where he applies advanced analytics and optimization to strengthen network planning and fleet utilization.
He began his career as an aerospace engineer in Iberia’s Reliability department, developing data-driven solutions to analyze delays, cancellations, and component performance. Inspired by the transformative role of data, he pursued a Master’s in Visual Analytics and Big Data and later joined Iberia’s Data & AI division, where he now leads strategic projects in network optimization. With over five years of airline industry experience, Roberto combines strong technical expertise with a business-oriented mindset.
At the Gurobi Summit, he will present Iberia’s Frequency Assignment for LH Flights optimization project.
