To gain deeper insights into its NPS results, Gurobi commissioned a survey of over 200 customers—including operations researchers, data scientists, engineers, and business analysts. The survey revealed several key findings, including:
- Customers primarily use Gurobi to maximize revenue or profits, improve operational efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize resource utilization.
- Speed, usefulness on a range of problems, and the Python API are top reasons for choosing Gurobi.
- Respondents expressed that they’re impressed with the Gurobi support team, and that it helps them use Gurobi more effectively.
- 9 in 10 respondents feel appreciated in their role as an optimization professional. They also believe strongly that their optimization work is mission-critical to their business.
