This hands-on virtual training event introduces mathematical optimization, the critical role it serves in analytics, and why it should be a part of every data scientist’s toolkit.
In this fully on-demand**, self-paced training, optimization experts will guide you through the basics and give you the tools to formulate and code a comprehensive application that will optimize rebalancing of bike-share stations using a machine learning-based forecast.
- Discover math optimization and machine learning commonalities, differences, and how they work together
- Guided exercises and examples in Jupyter notebooks hosted on Colab with instructor feedback for common questions
- All work will be in done Python (but, Gurobi supports many other programming languages)
- Sessions have been recorded and are available on-demand for schedule flexibility (All training content will be available from March 14 – September 1, 2023)
*ACCESSING THE EVENT: Registration is open through June 26. This expert-led training is accessible through the Whova Platform; please note the dates in Whova are listed as mid-June, but because the sessions are pre-recorded, the full training will be available and open from March 14 – September 1, 2023 for learners to access at their own pace.
**This training was originally offered live in November 2022 with a corresponding certificate of completion for those who completed all session content. We will be offering another live training in November 2023 with a certificate path, but the on-demand training will not issue certificates due to the self-paced nature of the training content.
We are excited to have you learn and upskill with us!
